Charming hotel with beautiful views of the Meuse River.

Unfortunately, I found the restaurant was closed during dinner hours, leaving us without dining options after a long day of travel. The air conditioning in the room was difficult to manage, making it uncomfortable, and we had to repeatedly call reception for assistance. Additionally, the breakfast service was lacking, as much of the food was already gone by the time we arrived close to the end.

the location is nice, but all dining options are closed before I even arrived, which is unbelieveable for a hotel. I really expected a welcome gift or at least a complimentary meal after that ordeal, but no such luck. The pillows are gigantic and uncomfortably hard, so sleeping was a challenge. , honestly I just couldn’t say anything good about it.

I had a great experience at les jardins du mess during my holiday. My previous stay was nice, but this hotel exceeded my expectations with its comfortable room and excellent breakfast. I loved the view from my balcony overlooking the river.

The hotel's location by the river is superb! Sebastian, the receptionist, provided outstanding service and even booked us a delightful dinner nearby that left us wanting to return.

On waking, I was greeted by friendly staff and a picturesque garden view. The modern, spacious room had excellent bathroom facilities, making relaxation easy. I appreciated the hotel's proximity to key historic sites, with a short drive to battlefield memorials.

I stayed for two nights in a spacious deluxe double room, which was perfectly clean and right in the center of all the major attractions, with highlights like the Citadelle Haute just a 10-minute walk away and the beautiful Brasserie du Parc literally just a few steps down the road for meals after a day exploring.

I had an amazing stay at Les Jardins Du Mess! The staff went above and beyond, even offering their personal phone for streaming my favorite football game while I relaxed at the bar. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the location by the river was stunning. My room was newly renovated and spotlessly clean with all the amenities I could ask for.

It was just an excellent fit for a weekend break in Verdun-sur-Meuse with fantastic value for money. The room was spacious and clean, and surprisingly quiet considering the busy area. Make sure to check out the small terrace at the back when the weather is nice!
